ONEKEEPER Philipp Kohn Special

 

The ONEKEEPER Philipp Kohn special is a traditional goalkeeper glove and is exactly as Philipp Kohn (AS Monaco) developed it. The glove is slim fit, light but sturdy on the backhand of the glove and has a long wrist strap. 

The Grip
Aqua foam is a foam that provides excellent grip in wet conditions. Aqua foam can also be used in dry weather, on both natural and artificial grass. However, the foam will wear out faster than other foams when used in warm conditions on artificial grass. This is because the foam is softer than other foams. Aqua foam is designed to drain water from the goalkeeper glove during rainfall, thereby maintaining the glove's grip.

The finger type
The ONEKEEPER Philipp Kohn Special is equipped with a Negative Roll cut. With the Negative Roll cut, all finger seams are stitched inwards, making the finger fully rounded for maximum catching surface on the fingers. The glove fits snugly on the fingers and around the hand for a great goalkeeping experience. 

Long elastic strap
The gloves feature a long elastic strap, which makes the goalkeeper glove fit extra tightly around the wrist. This ensures that the goalkeeper glove provides extra support for your wrist.

Extra advice for longer lifespan
Do you experience a lot of wear on the palm of your goalkeeper gloves?
This occurs when you make contact with the (artificial) grass and push yourself up with your palm to stand up. Try to avoid contact with your palm on the (artificial) grass as much as possible. Push yourself up with the outside of the gloves by making a fist. This will make your gloves last longer.
